How Credit For Life makes money
Credit For Life is a free loan-matching service. We are not a lender, and we never charge consumers a fee to use our site or the loan request form. Our /apply/ page embeds a loan request form built and operated by an independent network partner, and Credit For Life is a publisher in that partner's network. We may be compensated by that partner based on consumer activity connected to the form — for example, when a visitor submits it or is matched with a lender — without ever receiving the personal information entered into it.
The network partner, in turn, is compensated by the lenders and partners in its own network, and may route a submitted request to a lender directly, to a sponsored listing, or to another partner (such as a debt-relief or auto-title partner) depending on what is submitted.
How compensation can affect what you see
Because some lenders and partners pay more than others for the same activity, compensation can influence:
- Which lenders, sponsored listings, or partners appear or are offered to you
- The order in which offers or listings are presented
- Whether you are redirected to a lender, to a sponsored listing, or to a partner offer (such as a debt-relief or auto-title product) instead of the loan amount you requested
What this means for you
Always free to consumers
You never pay Credit For Life, or the network behind the loan request form, to see offers or use our educational content.
Not every lender is included
The network does not include every lender or loan product available in the market. Other options may exist outside our network.
No guaranteed outcome
Submitting the form does not guarantee an offer, approval, loan amount, rate or term. APR on offers you receive, especially short-term loans, may exceed 36%.
To learn more about who writes our content and how we keep it independent from this compensation, see our Editorial Policy. For questions about a specific lender's terms, or the loan request form's own terms, use the contact information linked in the form.
Representative example
For illustration only: a $3,000 installment loan at 35.99% APR over 24 months carries a monthly payment of about $177.13, with total payments of about $4,251.03 (about $1,251.03 in total interest). Your actual rate, term and payment depend on the lender that makes you an offer and your own qualifications.
Shop and compare
Because the network does not include every lender on the market, and because compensation can affect what you see, review any offer carefully and compare it against other options before you accept a loan. Look at the total cost of the loan, not just the monthly payment, and confirm the lender's license as described on our Licensing page.

Does it cost anything to use Credit For Life?
No. There is no fee to use our site or the loan request form. We are paid based on consumer activity connected to that form, not by consumers.
Who operates the loan request form?
An independent network partner builds and hosts the form on our /apply/ page. Credit For Life is a publisher in that partner's network and may be compensated when the form is used, without receiving your personal information.
Does compensation affect which lenders I see?
Yes, it can. Lenders and partners that compensate our network partner may appear more often, be presented in a different order, or generate a redirect to a sponsored listing. This does not mean an offer is better or worse for you.
Does Credit For Life show every lender available?
No. The network behind the loan request form does not include every lender or loan product on the market. You are free to shop and compare offers from other sources as well.
Is my offer guaranteed if I submit a request?
No. Submitting the loan request form does not guarantee an offer, approval, amount, rate or term, and you may be redirected to a lender or to additional sponsored listings instead of a direct offer.
Can the APR on an offer exceed 36%?
Yes. Short-term loan offers surfaced through the network may carry an APR above 36%. Always read the specific offer's rate and terms before accepting.
