Contact us first
If you have a concern about Credit For Life's website, our loan-matching service, or how your information was handled, contact us first so we can look into it.
Call us at (916) 461-1515, Monday–Sunday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pacific, or reach out through our Contact page. Please include your name, the best way to reach you, and a description of the issue.
What we can and can't resolve
We can help with
- Issues with our website or how a request was submitted
- Questions about how your information was shared
- Concerns about our advertiser disclosure or editorial content
- Opt-out and privacy rights requests
We can't resolve
- A lender's decision to approve or deny a loan
- A lender's specific rate, fee or repayment terms
- Disputes over funds already disbursed by a lender
- How the loan request form itself works, or how our network partner uses your data
Because Credit For Life is not a lender, decisions about your loan application, rate, or repayment belong to the lender that made the offer. Contact that lender directly using the information they provided you. Our loan request form at /apply/ is built and operated by an independent network partner, not by Credit For Life; issues with the form itself, its consent language, or how that partner or its partners use your information should be directed using the contact information linked in the form, or to us and we will point you to the right contact.
Escalating a complaint
If you can't resolve an issue with us or with a lender directly, you can escalate to a regulator:
DFPI (California)
For issues with a California-licensed lender or financial service provider, file a complaint at dfpi.ca.gov/file-a-complaint or call 1-866-275-2677.
CFPB (federal)
For federal consumer financial protection issues, file a complaint at consumerfinance.gov/complaint or call (855) 411-2372.
FTC (scams and fraud)
If you believe you were scammed or defrauded, report it to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
Before you escalate
Escalating to a regulator can take time to resolve, so it often helps to try these steps first:
Contact the lender directly
Ask for a clear explanation of the decision, fee, or term you're concerned about, and request any documents in writing.
Contact Credit For Life
If the issue involves our site or how your request was handled, call us at (916) 461-1515 so we can look into it.
Gather your records
Keep copies of any loan agreement, correspondence, and notes about who you spoke with and when. This makes it easier for a regulator to review your complaint if you need to escalate.
