Privacy Policy
What information our own site processes, and why the loan request form works differently.
- We do not sell or share personal information
- The loan request form is run by an independent network partner
- Your CCPA/CPRA rights as a California resident

1. Who this policy covers, and an important distinction
This Privacy Policy explains how Credit for Life LLC ("Credit For Life," "we," "us") handles information in connection with the website at credit-for-life.com. Credit For Life is not a lender. We publish educational content and, through the loan request form on our /apply/ page, connect consumers with an independent network partner that operates that form.
2. Information our own site collects
Apart from the loan request form described above, our site is simple. Here is everything we ourselves process, mapped to the CCPA/CPRA categories (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.140) where applicable:
| Category | What it is | Source | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers (standard server logs) | IP address, browser/device type, pages requested, referring page | Automatically, via our hosting provider | Security, fraud prevention and technical operation of our site | Typically no longer than 24 months |
| Identifiers (direct contact) | Name, phone number, email, and anything you choose to tell us | You, if you call, email or visit our office | Responding to your question or request | Up to 3 years from last contact, unless law requires longer |
| Approximate geolocation | IP-derived approximate location | Automatically, from your device | Basic security and site operation | Typically no longer than 24 months |
We do not run our own account system, do not place tracking or advertising cookies, and do not use analytics or ad pixels on our site today. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
3. The loan request form and our network partner
Our /apply/ page embeds a loan request form provided by an independent network partner. Credit For Life is a publisher in that partner's network and may be compensated based on consumer activity connected to the form, without ever receiving the personal information you enter into it.
- The form asks for information such as your loan amount, contact details, date of birth, ZIP and address, Social Security number, military status, income and pay schedule, approximate credit rating, and, if applicable, bank name/state and your bank routing and account numbers.
- When you click to submit, you separately agree to the form provider's own Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, linked in the form, including its arbitration agreement, its consent to marketing calls and texts from that provider and its partners, and its authorization for consumer reports under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
- The form provider may share your request with a lender, or redirect you to additional sponsored listings from its partners. Offers you receive, including short-term loans, may carry an APR above 36%.
Because the form provider collects this information directly and never passes it to us, its own Terms of Use and Privacy Policy — not this policy — govern how it is handled. Use the contact and opt-out information linked in the form to exercise your rights over that data, including to stop marketing communications from that provider or its partners.
4. We do not sell or share personal information
Credit For Life does not sell or share personal information, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We can say this plainly because we do not receive the personal information entered in the loan request form in the first place — it goes directly to our network partner. We may be compensated by that partner based on consumer activity connected to the form, but that compensation is not tied to a disclosure of personal information by us, since we never hold that information.
We still honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser, and treat a GPC signal as an opt-out-of-sale/sharing preference on our own site, even though we do not currently sell or share personal information. If you want to stop the form provider or its partners from further using or sharing information you entered in the loan request form, use the contact and opt-out options linked in the form itself. See our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page for details.
5. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected, used or disclosed, and why
- Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell or share it, as explained above)
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect any through our own site)
- Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights
How to submit a request
Call (916) 461-1515, email [email protected], or write to 300 Harding Blvd #112, Roseville, CA 95678. You may also use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require proof of the agent's authorization and may still verify your identity directly. Because the information you enter into the loan request form is held by our network partner, not by us, a request to know, delete or correct that specific information should be directed to that partner using the contact information linked in the form; we're happy to help point you to it if you contact us.
Verification and response time
We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity, matched to the sensitivity of the request, before completing it. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 days, extendable by another 45 days (90 days total) when reasonably necessary, with notice to you of the extension and the reason.
6. Cookies and technologies actually used on this site
We keep this section limited to what our site actually uses today:
- Google Maps embed on our contact and location pages, which may set its own cookies and collect usage data under Google's terms.
- Loan request form script (the embed on /apply/, run by our network partner), which includes device fingerprinting and session identifiers used by that partner for fraud prevention. The form script may also load third-party services used by our network partner to verify and record the consent you give when you submit the form, including recording your interactions with the form page (session recording) as evidence of consent. These services operate under our network partner's and their own policies; Credit For Life does not receive the recordings or the information you enter.
- We do not currently run analytics scripts or advertising/retargeting pixels of our own. If that changes, we will update this policy and this section first.
Do Not Track
Under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), we disclose: our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals differently from a normal visit, because no common industry standard for DNT exists yet. We do honor Global Privacy Control signals as described in Section 4.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, appropriate to the limited information our own site processes, to help protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Because we do not collect financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive personal or financial information through our own site, our security program is scoped accordingly; the loan request form's security is handled by our network partner under its own policies.
8. Shine the Light (Civil Code §1798.83)
California's "Shine the Light" law lets California residents request certain information about a business's disclosures of personal information to third parties for those third parties' own direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. If you have questions, contact us using the details in Section 11.
9. Minors
Our service is intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through our own site. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can address it.
10. Retention, international scope, and changes
We keep the limited information collected on our own site no longer than necessary for the purposes in this policy, generally up to 3 years from your last direct contact with us, unless a longer period is required by law. Our service is directed to United States residents only; we do not knowingly collect information from, or direct our service to, individuals outside the United States. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision, and continued use of our site after a change means you accept the update.
11. Contact us
For questions about this Privacy Policy, or about information collected on our own site, contact Credit For Life at (916) 461-1515, by email at [email protected], or by mail at 300 Harding Blvd #112, Roseville, CA 95678. For questions about information entered into the loan request form, use the contact and privacy information linked directly in that form.

Does Credit For Life collect the information I type into the loan request form?
No. The loan request form on /apply/ is built and hosted by an independent network partner. Information you enter there — including your Social Security number and bank details — goes directly to that partner, not to us. It is not collected, received, stored, sold or shared by Credit For Life.
Does Credit For Life sell or share my personal information?
No. We do not sell or share personal information, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months, because we do not receive the personal information entered in the loan request form in the first place.
What information does Credit For Life itself collect?
Only what's needed to run our own site and respond to you directly: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) kept by our hosting provider for security and operations, and anything you tell us if you call or visit our office.
Who handles the information I submit on the loan request form?
Our network partner that provides the loan request form. When you submit the form, you separately agree to that partner's own Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, linked in the form itself, including its own consent to arbitration, marketing contact and consumer report authorization.
Will submitting the loan request form affect my credit score?
Many lenders in the network start with a soft credit inquiry, which does not affect your credit score. Lenders and partners may also obtain consumer reports, and a lender may run a hard credit check before final approval, which can affect your score.
What are my rights as a California resident?
Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents can request to know, delete or correct personal information a business holds about them, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, limit use of sensitive personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. See the section below for how these apply to us.
How do I exercise rights over the information in the loan request form?
Since that information goes directly to our network partner, you'll need to exercise those rights with that partner directly, using the contact and privacy information linked in the form. We can help point you in the right direction if you contact us.
